Alignment over more initiatives...
I keep coming back to this when I’m working with leadership teams.

Most schools I work with don’t lack ideas. If anything, they’re carrying too many of them at once.
New initiatives aren’t usually the problem. What’s missing is alignment between them.
As priorities accumulate, even strong teams start pulling in slightly different directions. There’s no drama and no sense of failure. Just a gradual drift where effort increases but coherence doesn’t.
People are busy. Meetings are full. Progress feels like it’s happening. But without shared structure, the noise always returns. That’s why alignment matters more than adding the next good idea.
