All Data
So who is this even for anyway?

A question I think we should be asking a lot more in schools...
What's the purpose of this specific data we are collecting? How does it move learning forward and is it telling us anything we didn't already know? Who owns this data?
I've seen how easy it is to get bogged down in collecting data just for the sake of it. Or worse, simply because someone else has asked for it. But does your data directly inform classroom practice and strategic decisions?
These are the discussions I regularly have with schools.
⇣
Reactive
Processes are ad hoc or duplicative. Data is collected but not used effectively to drive decisions.
⇣
Evolving
Systems work but consume time. Data is analysed in some areas but insights are inconsistent.
⇣
Strategic & Sustainable
Systems are streamlined and purposeful. Data provides clarity, empowers decisions, and drives continuous improvement across the organisation.
