Leadership Roles
Does every leader know how their role connects to the school’s strategic vision?

Sounds simple. But the school leadership teams I speak to generally give a mixed response. It’s also interesting how the feedback differs when in a group compared to on an individual level.
⇣
Reactive
Leadership roles and responsibilities exist but overlap. Priorities are unclear and day-to-day demands tend to dominate.
⇣
Evolving
Leaders broadly share the vision but alignment wavers under pressure. Structures are functional but not yet optimised.

Strategic & Sustainable
Leadership team is fully aligned with the vision, confident in their roles, and equipped to deliver with clarity and consistency. Leadership structures drive capacity and long-term impact.
As part of the (always free) resources offered in Simpang, I have a really quick audit tool that asks 15 questions. Leadership teams have been using this tool as a starting point for discussion.
This process should not be automated, I wouldn't want to waste your time or mine with that.
So there’s no reliance on clever machines in this process as I want to ensure I always prioritise human interactions and interpretation.
