Thinking
Are we getting too sucked in by the ‘flashiness of AI’?

It’s great processing information and looking for patterns. It can also generate plans and does a good job of sorting data and it can generate loads of options for discussion at super speed.
But I have not seen yet how it could possibly understand an actual school.
The whole world’s knowledge is now pretty much free to access. But what to do with it? My view is that the more information we all have, the more we will value the human who actually knows what to do with it.
When we have access to all the world’s knowledge, how do we then apply it to a very specific context? That’s the skill. That’s where the real value is and that is what is going to continue to be sought after. Surely?
